I have Toyo gsi-6 studless winter tires on my fwd car. It makes driving in snow fun. With predictable braking and handling.
Those tires have a foam strip glued to the inside of the tire to help reduce noise. My MYP came with Pirelli tires that had the foam and were very quiet.
I have a 25 TRD Sport, went with P285/70/17 Toyo Open Country with Methods. The stock Wheels and Tires were 67lbs the new setup is 72lbs only a 5lb increase, I noticed zero change in mpg, life average 21.7.
the quietest and smoothest all-season sets I’ve tried are the Michelin CrossClimate 2 and Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 both ride way softer than the Falkens and handle New England weather really well.

I live in Alabama, recently bought a set of Pirelli Scorpion All-Season Plus 3 tires. I love them, they are quiet, ride and handle really well, and are very good in the rain. They are above average in the snow, so if you don’t get a lot of snow I would highly recommend them. They are cheaper then some the competition but a very good tire.
Actually enjoying the comfy sottozero 3s in traffic coming off my ecs02s but can definitely feel the wintertireyness and lack of traction and turn-in
Mickey MTs are my favorite for offroading, but they wear out super quick on the road. Running Toyo Open Country RT now. Offroad performance doesn't come close, but they are lasting awhile.
our stock Pirelli’s got damage and worn very early and set had to be replaced at 11k. Not pleased
