Great tire, long life, smooth quiet. 80MPH, 110mile per day commute no complaints. Decent in snow and rain too (we live in northern NM). We were concerned but they are just as good or better than your average name brand tire.

Pros: long life, smooth quiet

I agree with the Crossclimate II review. Had them for 2 winters now, and they grip just as good as the Toyo observe GSI5 winters I had, while being quieter and smoother.

Pros: quieter and smoother

Stock Pirellis were shot, tire shop recommended Sailun. $230 a piece, Irvine, CA.

My quick-take after a week of driving:

* Turning radius at slow speeds seems better than the Pirellis. It’s easier to get into parking spaces.

* Ride feels a bit "harder", more vibrations in the cabin now.

* I charge at home to 70% and only go to work and back. Normally get home at 64% SoC, this week been coming home at 65% SoC.

* Everything else feels the same (for now).

Pros: better turning radius
Cons: harder ride, more vibrations

I have had great luck with the Toyo Open Country A/T III on my 2500HD Silverado. We pull our 5th wheel everywhere. They are relatively quiet and have the load rating we need and good tread for a light all terrain.

Pros: relatively quiet, good tread
Mileage: 25000 km

Toyo Tires

Can’t speak to them on a crosstrek directly, but I have a set on my Xterra. Not terrible in terms of road noise day to day (even at a higher load rating on a heavier vehicle), and great tread life so far. As for grip, they are excellent. They got me through Minnesota’s snowiest winter in recent history last year and aided in getting a lot of my neighbors unstuck too.

Pros: great tread life, excellent grip
Cons: road noise
Vehicle: Nissan

Toyo Tires

I had AT3’s on my trek before I sold it for a truck. Great tires. They were great on muddy back roads in Texas getting to rural stations and were just as good when I moved to Colorado and dealt with snow storms.

Pros: great on muddy roads

Toyo Tires

Love the Toyo AT3 on my 17 CT. 215/65R15s. For comparison, the Bridgestones were 8lbs heavier per tire and that’s a huge difference in acceleration and wear/tear on the suspension/steering components. Also they are much quieter than Bridgestones.

Pros: much quieter
Cons: wear/tear on suspension

Currently have a/t 3 on my CT, overall love them, 19k on the tires overall with light to moderate off-road and as well snow storms. They are a bit noiser but once you get used to it, the noise won't bother you. Better traction overall and worth it compared to the stock tires that came on mine. Went mudding over the weekend and they did great

Pros: better traction overall
Cons: a bit noiser
Mileage: 19000 km

Our shop puts on a fair amount of those Sailuns because people like the price point they carry. They generally hold up ok although the Terramax A/Ts 10 plys dont hold up great for anything bigger than a half ton truck.

Pros: hold up ok
Cons: dont hold up great

Toyo Tires

Anecdotal, but I bought a 2022 CX5 earlier this year and it came with Toyo tires on it. My rear driver side tire literally BLEW UP while I was driving 75mph to work at 4 in the morning. It was so bad that there was nothing left of the tire except a couple inches of the side wall around the wheel. I had 8200 miles on the tires.

Pros: pretty quiet
Cons: tire literally blew up
Vehicle: Mazda
Mileage: 8200 km
