I also have a 22 Rav and hated the stock Dunlop Grandtrek tires. I finally swapped them out with a set of Yokohama Avid Ascend and i am very happy with them. Very quiet.

I had these tires on my Audi S5 and they were great in the winter. They have a decent speed rating for a winter tire as well.
Toyo AT3 265/70R18 P load. They're incredibly light.
My Crosstrek still has the original Yokohama tires at 77k miles sitting at 7/32".

Got about 70,000 on my 202p with stock sport Yokohamas. Btw these are NOT snow tires. But they handle great, that's why I purchased a second set.
The only complaint i have for it is that the stock toyo tires are not “optimal” for extreme winter weather; they will still get the job done.
Avoid toyo tyres at all costs. Especially cr1 theyre so shit in rain.
