Tires Toyo or YOKOHAMA
I got new shoes as well over the weekend. I have the sports package and went with 255/60r19 Toyo Open Country AT3.
The Toyo OpenCountry AT3 on a Honda Element were my favorite. Superior snow, mud, rain, and pavement performance.
I’ve had the Toyo at tires and prefer the Toyo’s. I’ve driven lots of off road trails with toyos, driven cross country towing another truck behind me through blizzards and they were great.
I bought the Yokohama BlueEarth winter tires. They worked great. They also meet the traction requirements for things like mountain passes. I didn't notice any change in gas mileage. During COVID we weren't driving much so I just left them on all year and didn't have any issues.
I've put Yokohama Advan Sport A/S on an E39, a 996, a Z4, and my current 986; I've been very happy with them every time. They're usually a little cheaper than other big name brand tires, they're quiet, and they have plenty of grip for our cars.
I took the 996 and E39 to autox and I had to really push the Yokohamas to get them to start slipping.
I was pleasantly surprised when my Toyo ATIII in 285/75r17 C load arrived. It has a 3 ply sidewall. I was expecting it to be 2.
I have the Yokohamas and I was surprised at how quiet they were
I had the Yokohama Bluearth es32 for 5 years. Grabe mag chipping yan so take that into account. It's a known issue with how the model is manufactured.
The es32 is a good tyre, good performance, talagang chipping lang nakaka dismaya. (tyres are regularly checked, car wheel is well aligned, rotated every 6 mos)
They are loud loud loud 40-70mph is obnoxious in my mirage. Car was aligned when put on a week ago. I wish I could exchange them they are that bad.
The worst tier that I have ever purchased. I had these put on my Alfa Romeo Stelvio, The tire noise is horrible, there is a lot of humming noise at high way speed, and it vibrates between 75 - 90 mph, i have done countless balancing and even tested the road force, the steering wheel vibration persists.
