I’ve had a set of Uniroyals (Tigerpaws) on my 2010 ford focus slider. They’ve been on for quite a few years now, no noticeable cracking, and treadwear still good.

There is such a notion as touring/comfort tires. They are not sporty at all, their advantage is in the ride quality compared to sportiness. And the prices are usually lower.

Also, Uniroyal has extremely soft rubber compound. All their tyres were very quickly.
