Tires Vredestein or Sailun
I know this thread is old but sailun is my #1 selling tire brand and I manage an auto repair shop. I have NEVER seen a sailun fail on it's own and the sh408, tcon, terramax, and svx have all been phenomenal. I have sold hundreds and never had a single complaint except on the sva1 which is a summer tire, the sva2 are great though.
I'm telling you, you can't go wrong with sailun especially for the price. They last better and have better traction than tires 50% higher in price.
Sailuneilla ajettu työmatkaa 126km päivässä lähes pelkästään moottoritietä. Nopeutta aina hilkun yli sallitun eli n. 125km/h. Renkaat koossa 205/45/17 ja etuset kului selvästi, mutta vuositasolla kilometrimäärä on 40th, joten aika paljon ajettu kesärengaskauden aikana ja ajotyyli vaikuttaa varmasti mun tapauksessa kulumaan. Moottori- ja kehätieliittymät aina vauhdilla + valoista lähtö terhakasta niin renkaat on edessä paineen alla. Takarenkaat yhden kauden jälkeen melkein kuin uudet.
Yli 20 vuoden ajokokemuksella sanon, että aivan hyvät on. Ei huuda ajossa kuten vaikka Trianglen kumet.
I have Sailun tires on my old 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport.... They are a few months old and I like them.... It rains alot here in Florida and they have good traction....
I have vredstein pinza on my GL 550 for 7k miles and are very happy with them.
The Vredesteins def looked noticeably bigger (taller) than the Yoko Geoloanders they replaced, but that could just be a worn vs new tire. So far so good other than not looking forward to cleaning them regularly lol.
Since virtually all of my driving is on pavement, I went the running shoe route with a set of the Vredestein Hypertracs. They've been excellent, in the dry, the wet, and light snow.
My truck had a brand new set of these when I bought it 4 months ago. They’re doing fine, I’ve done class 4 and 5 trails with them, plenty of traction, as long as they’re aired down they hold up well to sharp rocks. Adequate in the snow. They wear faster than nice AT tires but they’ll get you down the trail.
Vredestein Quattrac Pros were decent but about 30k miles it looks like. The Vredies I have had a sidewall issue on one. They are well rated bit want more durability.
We’ve had a HORRIBLE experience with Vredestein tires. We put them on my son’s Acura TSX, and 20,000 miles later all four are shot and need to be replaced. The front two are BALD. And by “bald”, I mean completely bald all the way across.
