Tires YOKOHAMA or Kumho
I’ve had pretty good luck with Yoko avid ascends.
I still miss my 360,000 mile Gen 3 Prius. I took really good care of it. Imported Japanese brand new hybrid battery , new catalytic converter, brand new Yokohama tires all around with brake pads and discs just to get rammed by a drunk driver.
Yokohama, because the CEAT tires that came with my Hunter slip on the grooves of the streets, but I tried a Triumph 400 with Yokohamas and the grip is exceptional.
I put 12" Yokohama Geolanders on mine last spring and they have been great on all sorts of terrain and weather.
Eu am AT-uri all season (yokohama geolandar g015), foarte multumit. Am fost si la schi iarna asta, drumuri necuratate, n-am avut probleme. La franare pe zapada parca lasa putin de dorit, dar nici michelin-urile vechi de iarna nu erau grozave.
I'm on my second set of Kumho all season, I don't think I'm missing out not spending the extra on Michelins. The Kumho have been awesome in the recent weather bomb.
My 23 ID4 Pro OEM Kumho Crugen tires lasted 40K miles and replaced them with Lexani EV Tires at Walmart with 50-60K warranty all for $560. Already gone 2,500 miles on it and performance is the same with OEM.
Used Kumho’s brand just fine in the past. But been several years as other tires I’ve looked at had better wet traction / price for my specific tire size so I’ve opted for others more recently.
Was recommended awhile back and had Kumho Ecsta. Not great. Went back to Michelin tires. Cost more, but a huge difference in noise, comfort and traction when wet.
I have not had good experience with this brand. They came on my wife’s car and started hydroplaning terribly after about 8,000 miles.
