I've had great experience with it as well. Been driving through the Sierra Nevadas in heavy snow and ice, chain controls for everyone without 4wd and snow tires, and the thing drives like it's on rails. Very impressive.
At the Beeville Pro Solo I ran both the Vitour and Yokohama on my AST/STR ND, and went faster on the Yokohama. On the Yokohama, the front would just GO, with good entry rotation.
Aiemmin ajanut random nastoilla, mutta Nokia Hakkapelitta R5 kitkat tuli hankittua kun sähköautoon vaihdoin pari vuotta sitten enkä kyllä muita talvirenkaita enää huolisi. Menee säässä kun säässä eikä kertaakaan ole tarvinnut jännittää että pääseekö perille.
Syksyllä hankin etuvetoiseen autoon Nordman 9 -nastarenkaat, ja hyvin ovat pitäneet kovemmillakin vauhdeilla ja erittäin liukkailla keleillä. On testattu toimivaksi sekä Etelä-Suomessa että Pohjois-Norjan vuoristossa.
Mulla ollut Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 ja R4 kitkat suht tehokkaiden nelikkojen alla ja ollut tyytyväinen. Käyttäytyy miten pitääkin, aika löysät plussakelillä verrattuna venäläisiin kitkoihin (Viatti Brina), muuten ei moitteita.
Ostin Hakkapeliitta R5 kitkat syksyllä ja olen ollut tyytyväinen. Tänään just luistelin niillä aamulla turvallisesti perille kun moni muu valitteli liikkaita jäitä.
Have these on my 981S, they are excellent. I have just done weekend drives, they have great manners. Looking forward to racing them when I switch from skis to cars.
Have driven my set (255 40 R17) for around 70 laps of the Nürburgring Nordschleife, grip is quite good, don't take too long to heat up, and have excellent heat resistance. I can empty a fuel tank (5 laps) without noticing a performance drop off.
I run wrg4’s for winters and their decent. They’re not loud and they’re fine in the dry and wet. Snow and ice they could better. Not as good as a full winter but better than all seasons.
Just wait until you try the Nokian Hakkapeliitta or Gislaved Nordfrost and realize that Blizzaks are mediocre at best.
