Bosch clear advantage is the best value/money
I don't really have a preferred brand but in the past few years I've had AC Delco and Bosch and they work fine.
I bought Bosch Envision wipers for my daughter's Honda and they worked well but were over $50 for the pair.
Just changed mine out to Bosch Icons. You need the OE, not A or B. Ours are 16mm, not 19mm.
I put Bosch icon 24”& 19” on my 2019 jetta gli and they are absolutely amazing definitely recommend a little pricey but definitely worth it Super smooth and quiet and wipes great
Bosch’s are always great on VW’s. When I picked up my GLI the first thing I noticed was the unbearable squeaking of the wipers with every pass. They also were terrible at keeping the windshield clear even at max speed.
Getting new wipers (Bosch) solved the problem for me.
I replaced my wipers with Bosch wipers and added Rain X to the windshield and it's significantly reduced the wiper chatter on my golf.
I've had my 2019 S since May, 2018. The original wipers wiped OK, but began to get noisy a few months ago. We just went into the rain season here, so I replaced them with new from a VW dealer in San Antonio TX. The new ones are dead silent and wipe cleanly and completely.
The OEM wipers that came with my car from the dealer lasted 4 years and worked great until the last month of having them.
The apparently fancy, highly reviewed Bosch I replaced them with are at year 2 and are already needing a replacement.
