  • Wipe quality:

I'm a fan of Bosch Icon wipers. I just changed a 2 year old set of Icons on my M3 that is parked outdoors with new Icons.

Pros: good durability, replaced with same

I only use Bosch blades on my cars here in northern IL. While the Icons are good I personally prefer the better contact of the traditional Bosch blades vs the beam blade. Some people think the traditional frame blades don’t look as nice but I find them to last longer.

Pros: last longer
Cons: don’t look as nice

Bosch Wiper blades

While they're not the cheapest brand out there, they last forever. My last pair lasted almost 5 years before the rubber started separating from the blades.

Pros: long lasting
Cons: rubber separation after 5 years

I tried Trico and wasn't super happy with them. I didn't feel they fit as well as the OE wipers. They were a bit too loose and made noise, etc. I've been very happy with Bosch AeroTwin. Virtually identical to the OE wipers and the fit was perfect.

Pros: fit was perfect
Cons: too loose, made noise

  • Noise:

Finally swapped out noisy originals with Bosch Icon 24 OE + Bosch Icon 19 OE. Huge improvement. Why did I put up with the old ones for so long? Note - Icons come in three styles as referenced up thread, A or B versions will not work. The OE Version comes with multiple adapters, out of the box it fits PTB 19mm wiper arms. 2019 Jetta uses 16mm PTB (aka narrow PTB). So just pry the #2 adapter off the blade, click on the #4 adapter, and install on the wiper arm. Voila - silent wipes!

Pros: huge improvement, silent wipes
