On my daily car (e39 BMW) I use Michelin CrossClimate tires, because it doesn't get realy hot or really snowy here (North-Western Europe). As for all seasons, they are considered pretty good.
I ordered the genuine Bosch alternator for not even 300 bucks and installed it myself for him still good a year or so later and it was a very easy job
Same issue in my 2019 M3. Replace the cabin air filter. Solved.

I've bought a set of quatrac 5 vredesteins for my X5 ... 2.5/3 years ago ... about halfway worn after 25k miles.
To be honest, in the dry ... easy to reach and surpass the adhesion limit at moderate speeds, feel is mehh at best. Quiet tires, decent tread life, comfortable but no where near the advertised levels. Currently during the winter ... moderate snow ... nothing spectacular, slightly better grip off the line than the duellers, fairly predictable, but a bit short on lateral grip ... so if you are braking and trying to cut a corner on snow ... better be awake so you don't end up in a ditch nose first.
They sent my friend a cap for a non-m car and it took him a while to figure out the leak was from the brand new cap.
I have a similar problem coming up, my OBD dongle mentioned a pressure-discrepancy in the aircon system, and it is simply not blowing cold air anymore. It also makes a 'tikking' sound when it is enabled. (from the left-rear-wheel-well) Sounds like I might have the same problem. I have a 2014 REx with 60k miles.
My take on the whole thing: BMW dropped the ball here. Replace it now if you have a 2014/2015 i3, and you have not replaced it yet.On BMW's advice of basically replacing the whole system (incl the loops in the battery), I don't quite agree with this, because when you replace the compressor, you should also replace the drier, which (if I'm not mistaken) contains a filter. Which would filter any metal particles.
