I run 10w30 motorcraft because my 300 doesn't dry start as bad with it
Reviews of spare parts for Chrysler
They're both running good year reliants, that were only guaranteed for 60k miles. They have 90k each and still had tread left.
No idea on diesel but I used this product on Chrysler multi-air engine that was showing strong signs of multi-air failure. Used this flush, rinsed with two rounds of oil, and the problems vanished. I think this cleaned out all the small passages and saved me a ton of trouble in replacing the multi-air unit.
I have had a Chrysler 300 for 10 years, and it has now 160k km. The only things I had to change were an alternator, a battery, and 3-4 tire sets... it is a 2013 model 3lt turbo diesel.
From the manual: "The manufacturer recommends using MOPAR Antifreeze/Coolant 5 Year/100,000 Mile Formula HOAT (Hybrid Organic Additive Technology) or equivalent." Remember that the Routans are really Chryslers in disguise, so no need to go exotic brands on fluids. So you can try this: Valvoline Zerex ZXGO51 G-05 Antifreeze.
I just put on Raybestos R-line pads and rotors on a 2010 Town and Country. Those vans are notorious squealers. The trick is to use the spray version of disc brake quiet.
I have a 1997 Town & Country with its original Michelin spare on a full size steelie and I thought this was already old enough.
I have replaced many brand new NGK's in newer chryslers after the customer gets them from a parts store. NGK's can and will cause ignition coil secondary circuit codes. Also, on hemi's they will set asd control circuit codes and cause the car to stall.
