I’ve got a 2013 Ford Taurus limited, and I’ve got the crossclimate 2’s on her. Beat tires I’ve ever had. They’re a little expensive, but they’re well worth it. They’re designed to push snow and rain away from your vehicle. Stoping power even in the snow is great.
Reviews of spare parts for Ford
I ran stock plugs for a while and they got chewed up fast. On NGks now and even pushing 29 psi they keep the gap well.
My vote is for KO2s. I had the first set on my ‘12 F150 for about 5 years. Replaced them with another set of KO2s and they’ve been pretty solid for the past year or so. Still plenty of tread left on them.
I put those same morimotos in my truck about a week after I bought it. Way better than the stock halogens.
Had these headlights about 3 days after I bought the truck. So much better than the halogens.
I put hawk street 5.0 pads on mine a few months ago. They are good, def better than oem.
If you really want a budget tire I’d recommend the Continental extreme contacts... I have them on my R for daily driving and they’ve been great. I’m right around 494 WHP and they have excellent traction in a straight line and turning. It’s actually pretty hard to get them to spin
I have the RainX now and they work great but I won’t buy them again. Why? They’re ugly as shit lol. I know it’s a stupid reason, but damn, they’re horrible.
Falken RT660 suck when temps are below 60F as even in the dry the rears won't get enough heat in them to work properly until around runs 5-6. Kumho V730 do better in cool dry weather than the RT660, but they're not a rain tire (at least not here in the Pacific NW).
Had to have the brake booster system completely replaced after I almost hit a car when the pedal went down and almost nothing happened.
