Had them on my 2010 F 150 when I sold it and loved them, nice soft quiet ride.
I got 103k miles on a set on my 2013 5.0 F150. Still have them in the garage because there’s still tread left. I put new defenders on a couple winters ago. Highly recommended.
On my 2nd set on my f150, Dads been running them for years. Had 2 sets on 2 different of my Wife’s vehicles. We get a lot of snow and rain here in West Michigan and they do amazing in all conditions, there’s not a better tire out there.
I use Gulf 5w30 Full Synthetic on my ecoboost. Ran full synthetic in my ST as well. Never had any issues with it.
Dealer quoted me $557 for my 15 f150 alternator the other day. Found the same motorcraft alternator for $325-ish (+a $75 core charge). A little less painful. I share them same feelings as a couple other posters. Been burned by enough cheap-o remans over the years to skimp on certain parts.
I maintain 4 6.7s, in f350 and f450. Motorcraft filters and full synthetic 5w40 are my choice. I send Blackstone oil samples periodically and change them at 8k. So far, Blackstone keeps telling me I can let the oil go longer.
Pretty much all the newer Ford 4 and 3 cyl crap-box engines have what's called a wet belt for the timing. It's inside the engine as opposed to external like any sane normal or any moderately intelligent person would engineer.
Because of this, they require a VERY specific grade of oil, usually 0w-20 or 5w-20 full synthetic. If the wrong oil is used the belt will start to degrade and shred itself, this then starts plugging the oil pump pickup with rubber debris and starves the engine for oil. Or it just outright shreds and snaps, like yours did.
Very poor experience with this company.
Short – I ordered a flywheel for a ford focus on their website. Their website said in nice green print “This fits your: 2013 FORD FOCUS”. It actually doesn’t, instead you have to sort through the fine print of the part to discover that it only fits the ST Turbocharged.
I put an OEM glass in an ExST and it fit like shit, had to cut it out and redo it and it still wouldn't line up like before.
