I have a Superduty Tremor with Duratrac Wranglers and a Focus ST that I have a second set of wheels and Blizzaks on it. As long as the snow isn’t too deep that it packs my bumper full I prefer to drive the ST with snow tires on it in winter weather because dedicated snow tires are almost always better in colder climates period.
Reviews of spare parts for Ford
Got a set of 16 steelies with Michelin Ice-X's for my 2014. Have worked pretty well so far and I got at a good deal with Discount Tire.
I upgraded to stoptech drilled rotors with the posi quiet pads. I'm happy with the performance on street for spirited driving, and they create much less dust than my old Hawk HPS pads.
Had this on our Ford Kuga £860. Did it myself although I already have all the tools for £280 all round.
My 2016 Ford Taurus has Toyo Celsius on it and they’re an all-season tire. They have snow treads on the inside half of the tread-face and highway treads on the outside half. Very nice for icy and snowy Montana roads and I don’t have to switch them out between winter and summer
I recently changed my spark plugs on 2012 Ford Focus. I used Bosch and got a 3 MPG boost.
OP I have the same car and engine as you, I've been using the cheap Mannol stuff, whichever is cheapest. Also whichever the cheapest oil filter is from ECP at the time. Car is currently on 120k and I've been doing this for at least 5 years and it hasn't eaten itself yet!
The cheap windshield glass is a known issue with the Maverick. I don't recommend getting the OEM glass. The aftermarket windshield is higher quality.
Last summer, I bought a set of AC Delco control arms for a '72 Mustang. The balljoint on the driver's side arm lasted less than 500 km...
