A reman Denso starter is a reasonable compromise.
Reviews of spare parts for Honda Accord
I\u2019ve jumpstarted my 2019 freightliner from a Honda Accord before.
def go through and do the timing belt, and all the oil seals behind it. They're so happy once they're not leaking anymore
I just put a timing belt in it at 144k. Easy 1 day job. Thats really all I have had to do to it aside from tires, brakes and oil changes in the last 6 years.
If you want something good get raybestos have them in my 8th gen accord and they are above oem.
I've put 100k on my 2.4 Accord Coupe 6 speed, and other than the infamous starter problem, I've had to do nothing to it.
Omg I have almost the exact same experience. switched to Weatherready2 and now 37!
Just had my 2008 V6 Accord written off after getting rear ended. It had plenty of power and was relaxing to drive, but was a bit soft when it got twisty - but only Rimutaka Hill/Pahiatua track level twisty, and that was coming from a Legacy GTB.
The equipment level is pretty basic but after 190k I'd only had to replace the power steering pump and alternator, and the only interior wear was on the centre console lid.
There stiff i got them on my 2016 accord i replaced the 19in wheels with 17s and it kinda helped
Had a 2020 1.5 T Sport, same issue. Car drove fine after the turbo codes until the head gasket blew up. It’s a known issue with 1.5 L Turbo hondas
