My slave cylinder started leaking on my 13 2.0T r-spec, and the first shop I took it to quoted me $3500. Checked with the dealer, $4500. Second shop quoted me $2500, and the third and smallest shop quoted me $1500 and they got my business, hah. Feels great now, and they put in the basic Valeo kit you can find on rock auto.
Reviews of spare parts for Hyundai
Last Fall I asked for winter tire recommendations and ended up buying Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3s for my 2021 KonaEV Preferred - many thanks for the advice - I was **very** happy with them through the winter.
Ran fine when I got it but I switched to amsoil and it has changed the sound of cold starts. MUCH QUIETER!! and seems to have smoothed out the idle over time.
My daughters Sonata just did this exactly. Had to replace starter and now works great.
The clutch is awesome it's holding my bolt on tuned bk1 2.0t torque perfectly. Drives like stock no chatter that you get with a lightweight flywheel. I got the new slave cylinder/ throw out bearing flywheel and HD clutch kit.
In my 3.8T, I've got a Spec clutch kit. I've had it for a little over half a year now, and still feels good. Customer service is also very good in case you have any hiccups during the install
I've used AMSOIL Signature in my recent change in my 3.8 with a K&N Filter. I gotta say it's pretty damn good. Engine cranks right up and feels so much more smoother.
Go to Part Source. Take your filter in and see if it matches the CF11819 FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter for $30 dollars. Note, some of the filters on Amazon do not have the same amount of pleats as the OEM or the FRAM.
Never buy fram oil filters they’re all shit.
Bosch Icon works not as good on my Sonata for some reason. The driver side squeal right away if it's only raining lightly, and the wipers go when I'm waiting for the green light. When the car is moving it's better. If I do a few squirts of washer it will go smoothly for a few minutes then back to squealing.
