Finally pulled the trusty old Panasonic battery out of my CX-5 and replaced it with an Optima Yellowtop. When I buttoned everything up, I still had my radio stations and settings right where I left them.
Reviews of spare parts for Mazda
I switched to a Mazda 3 as a daily but I loved the CX-50, CX-5, and no doubt in my mind the Mazda 6 holds its place.\n\nThe layout under the hood was similar to my 13' fusion. Changing oil was easier, engine air filter was easier, cabin air filter was easier.
I strongly recommend proper winter tires. At a minimum, at least get winter rated all weather tires. We had a lot of slushy bullshit build up today. The only reason I was able to get out of my neighborhood & make it to a Dr's appointment was because I run Blizzaks on my ND1.
The wiper assembly on this car is one of the best of any car I’ve had. When the original blades started to get streaky, I did briefly try some michelin and rainx blades to replace the OEM blades, but found they were both a downgrade. Both were larger than OEM, which generated extra noise, and caught the wind when at speed so they would chatter and skip. Less than ideal especially in inclement weather.
I’ve been using OEM blades ever since. I typically replace the wiper blades in the fall, and then if I notice any issues with streaks in the spring I replace again.
This is my second winter with the car and OEM blades, and I’m not having any issues with the blades or fluid. If I do miss anything, the wipers and the winter fluid take care of the rest.
I've heard good stuff about the Hawk ones but I use Hawk HPS myself
kind of reminds me of when my alternator bearing in my Mazda was shot. It sounded like a tin can with a rock being rattled around.
Could be the brakes. My wife's CX-5 smells like that, too. I think one of her slide pins probably seized and needs to be lubricated. Full brake job will be done in the spring. 35K miles or so. I've found that the road salt here just murders Mazda OEM brakes. We've had the same experience with Honda, as well.
If you slap a cone air filter on, it will sound better but just replacing a flat filter in the airbox offers no benefit and could potentially let more dirt get in the engine. I wouldn't bother
For instance, nasiraan ako ng fuel pump. Dinala ko sa casa sa alabang, wala silang stock ng fuel pump for my model, nag hanap ako online both shopee, lazda and facebook pati sa mga recommended shop sa facebook group pero wala. Need ng preorder and it took two months bago ako nakabili ng fuel pump. And the price? 25k for the pump alone di pa kasama fuel filter and labor.
As others have said, bulging is a sign that the internal structure of the tyre has failed. As frustrating as this is, it's new tyre time.
