Reviews of spare parts for Nissan
I went with a BorgWarner S257SXE... 515hp at all 4 wheels on Ethanol at around 21 psi. Spools faster than OEM twins.
Ended up buying OEM plugs from the parts counter, they're not cheap, engine purred after that, no problem.
My 276k mile Xterra still trucks along with motul, every 3k miles.
I can personally attest to the quality of the coopers, as I've put mine through absolute hell on my first gen frontier, which is my bush/overlanding rig.
I have the Sumitomo Encounter AT's on my frontier. Good reasonably priced tire.
I had them on my Z32 a few times, not bad, I wouldnt do track days with them, (well I did once they warped). But outside of that, for daily they are fine.
Literally anything but moog. Moog hasn't been good for a long time.
Shop Forman and Nissan tech of 15 years, lately we have seen a ton of frontiers come in for battery discharging. Some will be batteries that do test bad, some have been discharging for no reason even after confirming no parasitic drains, some believe the Telematics control unit is staying on/relaying to Nissan servers causing drains. With the variable charging systems controlled by the ECM/IPDM all of it just seems to be a recipe for electrical disaster. Not a fan of any of it
I noticed mine is a "motorad" and it's the cheapest shittiest one and it's been giving me problems.
