I use hawk ceramic compound strictly for the low dust. I autocross several times a year, which is way different than a day of 20 minute hot lap sessions, but I have noticed no discernible difference in performance. Just exponentially less dust on my rims.
Reviews of spare parts for Porsche
the Cayenne just had an engine out re-seal + timing chain job, is already deleted, and had the suspension replaced with GTS springs + F/R sway bars and Bilstein B6 at 160K miles.
I found the Porsche to warm up pretty well by like 2 - 3 laps. Easier to brake. Braking distance a little shorter.
I've done:
General oil/ all filters maintenance.
Tires
Suspension
Brakes
Exhaust
Plugs and coil packs
Radiators
AC condensers
Put Powerstop Z23’s on my 997 and love them. Low dust and the price is hard to beat.
I've been gathering parts to do the timing chain on my 2012 CTT. I bought it with a reduced engine power warning but was originally told it was just a variable valve solenoid. Thankfully I did some research and learned that you can see part of the upper timing chain guide through the oil fill cap hole. Mine is missing the plastic lining on the upper chain guide so a timing chain service is needed.
Drain the fuel tank and put some fresh gas into it with a new fuel filter.
So far, PCV valve, all fluids done & flushes, did transfer case fluid & was informed water pump leaking. Told them do it.
I just picked up a set of pirelli 110 winter tires for my Cayenne on eBay fo 400$. The all season pirellis are fine, they just don\u2019t stop for shit in the snow so I too bought some snows today
Have the same issue in a brand new cayenne. They said the problem is that I live in an area with humid weather and that they cant replicate the issue in the workshop and wont replace them. From what I have heard and read so far, it seems it is an issue with Porsche headlights.
