Reviews of spare parts for Saab
Used the mitsubishi one’s in my 2006 9-3 - no issues in over 7 years of use. Used these NGK in my 2011 9-5 (they were $2 more per coil but had a 3 year warranty) Different engine with OEM being Denso but the NGK have worked fine over the past year.
I actually just put a hella fuel pump in my 2006 9-3 also. I had no issues with the install and have put a few thousand on the car since then. I ordered mine on Eeuroparts.
mine last for ages! Ones on my Saab must have been on it since 2018
I found that running xx-40 in Saabs made the engine run quieter and smoother.
I’ve been running Castrol GTX 10w30 conventional in my 9000 Aero. Brought it to a Saab specialist and he recommended it. Need to have the valve seals redone and the oil is thick enough that it doesn’t get past the seals and no smoke. No issues running it. I change it every 3 months regardless of how far I’ve driven.
Shell Rotella T6. It's marketed as heavy diesel oil, but it meets the exact same specs as mobil 1 full synthetic and just has some extra detergent like diesel oils do.
This oil in OG 9-3 that have the crankcase retrofit kits clean the entire engine very well after a few oil changes getting rid of and preventing any sludge issues. The oil even eliminated some nasty tappet noise due to low oil pressure in my 2002 9-3 after a few seconds when I bought it.
I think I've got the B6 on my 9-3, might be the B8 I can't remember, whichever one is "street" option for slightly lowered cars not the racing shocks and they ride great! They're bit harsh on rough roads but they perform so good everywhere else. Absolutely transforms the cars handling
I remember back in the day getting a set of 352's because I liked how they looked and Butler Tire had a discount on them, mine weren't so wide though, just 195/60 --- the review below is accurate, they were LOUD on asphalt but good in the wet and excellent on dirt/gravel, had them on a Saab 900 that I'd take offroad quite a bit.
You can buy some "Bosch" fog lights for a Saab 900, not sure of what year. Also, the images online will show Bosch in the glass. The ones you buy online, while labeled and boxed and stickered Bosch, don't actually have the logo.
