I've had it happen to me from Discount Tire, but luckily they were closeout and discounted already. They were my previous set of Geolander ATS for my Forester. Awesome tires though, never had an issue in 55k miles.
After trying a lot of different blades over the years, these days I order Denso Designer blades for all my cars from Rockauto (not affiliated, just a fan). They were OEM on my '09 Subaru Forester and they work great and last a long time.
I as well just replaced the oem brakes after almost 7 years. Other than a warrantied sensor, I've not had any issues. Still a blast to drive after 7 years, it still feels new.
Before anything I'd replace the battery, something like an Optima Yellowtop. I never bothered with caps, the yellowtop put an end to the lights dimming rather quickly.
