Brakes are a composition issue. rears wore out at 34,000 miles on my 22 Taos S. Replaced with Raybestos Hybrid ceramic and with 87,000 they still have plenty of life.
Reviews of spare parts for Volkswagen
I always buy Bosch filters for both our VW's
Maybe I'm wrong, here, but that looks like rust to me.
Did the mech use green coolant, and not the factory VW red/pink/purple stuff? That would cause the cast iron short block to rust out in short order.
For me, the Golf is one of the best all-around vehicles on the market today, offering a very reasonable price point for its capabilities. I have taken my Rs to the track one day and then embarked on a 4,000 km road trip the next. I put over 100,000km on my first R (Mk7) in under a year. It saw the drag strip every Tuesday, AutoX events every Wednesday and Saturday, and HPDEs once a month. The only maintenance issues I had were a water pump replacement at 110,000km and a faulty driver's side window switch at 40,000km. Outside of that, the car didn\u2019t miss a beat.
I love all the things that set it apart from the standard GTI - suspension changes, VAQ improvements, power and brakes.
Ich habe mal an einem Passat das Wechselintervall von 60000 km auf 170000 überzogen. Ging vollkommen problemlos und hat super gehalten.
The front suspension is also completely blown out so I was going to replace the struts and rear shocks.
Every time I get Bosch brake pads I\u2019m disappointed.
Ho una Golf 7 1.4 TSI 122CV del 2014 quindi con motore EA211. Ha all'attivo 157000km, da quando ho fatto 140000 km devo rabboccare 1l di olio ogni 2700km.
