I'm planning on spending $710~ on a Mishimoto FULLY sealed radiator (no stupid plastic side tanks).

Will be replacing all vac lines during my Ultimate delete, as well as installing a Powergasket.
I have 2.0TFSI coils and new Denso IK22's. So the only other thing that would effect all cylinders is the coil pack harness? What do you guys think?
The little ridges that the clips hold on too were visibly larger and more square on the fram one than the off-brand. Do yourself a favor and get a good brand and have peace mind that it wont blow off when you hit a bump in the road
I always run rotella 15w-40 in my mk3 2.0 8v. No complaints and its cheap
I found a vac leak at the brake booster line. I fixed it, and now I am getting no codes at all. it says "EVAP OK" The reason I missed the leak at the brake booster line is because it can't be detected with a pressure test because of the check valve. I've driven 35 miles with no codes, so an entire year with a lean code is finally over, I hope!
I used the bigger passat 1.8t filters on my DD 2000 jetta with mobil 1 0w40 for over 100k in 4.5 years (135k total on vehicle) and when that car was totalled in a flood, the motor was tight and flawless...
I just upgraded to a yellow top optima n I'm one cable short on finishing the big three.
I had been hearing a hitch-pitched noise from my engine that almost sounded like a vacuum cleaner about 5-10 minutes after engine start up. Took the car into the dealer to find that it was a water pump failure (as I kind of knew from poking around here). It looks like this is a fairly common issue for 2012's unfortunately, but just a heads up for people as this didn't trigger a CEL or anything.
ive been using that fram filter since my girl got her '94 2.0 jetta and i thought it was the oil pump about to go... her oil light only goes on when shes driving slow but she'll downshift and once it goes up in rpm's the light goes off...
