My last car was an A4 with AMB engine and the recommended timing belt change interval according to maintenance booklet was at 110K, while at the local dealer they were trying to persuade everyone to change it at 80K. I did one myself at 104K and it was just the right time as I noticed it started to stretch.

In fact, it receives various upgrades, including pistons with new bolts and rings, stronger connecting rods, a new aluminum-silicon alloy cylinder head, different injection valves and a different turbocharger.
Having driven with both Xenons and LEDs, LEDs are superior.
The torsion bar rear suspension on the GSW is not a simple torsion bar setup like I had on my 80's vintage FWD Audi Fox and Audi 80. The two rear wheels have swing arms and the torsion bar is about half way between the swing arm pivot and the rear wheels. This configuration causes the torsion bar, which is quite large, to act as an anti roll bar. It also decreases the apparent unspring weight seen by the wheels.
I changed my timing belt a month ago and my car had 111250Km and ten years young. First of all, I was amazed by the quality of the old timing belt, it was solid with no cracks at all.
There is limited information to be found concerning replacing the drive belt for the Roadster's rear wind deflector, or wind stop. I've put together a DIY on the procedure as a service to this community. The process is really quite simple, using basic tools and armed with this DIY, you should have it done in 20 to 30 minutes.
I've done lots of jobs that don't involve getting inside the engine, such as replacing brake rotors/pads, alternators, starters, shocks, accessory/alternator belts, etc.
It's been a bit expensive to maintain compared to the other dub's i've owned though. at about 117k miles now, and since i replaced the PCV, DV, Coilpacks, Cam, HPFP, AC compressor, injectors and hand-picked the carbon deposits out, (all out of warranty and on my dime) it's been great!
Is that the 2.8L? mine busted 8 times, there was so much jb weld on the oil pan when I was done. Terrible design by Audi.
Anyone with TTRS fronts has this problem? I definitely noticed this problem ever since I installed Audi TTRS front brakes. I also use Carbs.
