Finally decided to commit and replace my noisy startup starter with a Denso Reman. No the starter wasn’t dying, I purchased the car already making the noise, and have had it now for 3 years. I was just getting tired of hearing that grind noise when I start the car mostly in the winter.

Denso iridium spark plugs
New Denso Platinum spark plugs. Car drives great, no codes, no sputtering or stalling or hesitation.
This sounds like a cheap Amazon or AutoZone starter was used. Replace it with a Denso or OEM Honda part.
Denso is what I run and never a problem.
I’ve used denso remans and not had issues
Please please please, get a remanned or new Denso. Do not buy anything else. You WILL regret it.
Unless you love electrical quirks and replacing alternators, get a Denso.
I replace just as many aftermarket alternators that are 'new', as I do 10+ year old OEM. Aftermarket alternators, unless denso's, fail often.
And try and go with the Denso. Some of those are Chinese sweatshop garbage.
I’ve had several Denso plugs do this on a couple Camrys I service, and our own. All 2.4 cars. Caused tow ins for both husband and wife’s cars. I’ve fired denso as a spark plug provider, too many failures.
