My Sierra EV can take over 380kw for quite a while, and stays above 250kw all the way past 75%. And it does it without putting a ton of stress on the battery because at over 210kwh that’s not too much for it.
I got 170k miles in 15 years out of the factory unit in my 01 Yukon. It still worked when it got replaced, but the water pump died and I replaced it when I did that.
My new 2.7L 4cyl Turbo engine from GM has a DC motor driven oil pump that goes through a pre-lube and post-lube cycle.
GM has used plastic (composite) leaf springs for decades, the first gen Camaro and Nova had them, the Corvette starting in 84, the Chevy Astro van, 1st/2nd gen Ford Explorer Sports.
I cleaned out my throttle body when I bought the car with 60k miles and the damn thing looked like clogged arteries. 10K miles later I had to take the throttle body off while doing some other work and I was shocked at the amount of diesel snot that had accumulated after I had just cleaned it.
This is what the dealership put in my 2019 that also has the newer refrigerant type. These AC compressor seem to be a common failure...too bad GM won't ever do a recall.
The blades it comes with are just cheap and don't perform well in the cold.
We’re all running into this issue, the GM blades are not holding up. They don’t last long at all.
The plugs said "DO NOT GAP FACTORY SET" Every single plug in every box was the wrong and different gap and had to be redone. Some with the electrodes damn near touching.
It’s def a GM wide issue for sure, started happening in what 20 or 21. GM said it’s normal at the time then 2 years later came out with updated pads n rotors to fix said issue.
