Get the Mitsubishi oem coolant. It’s more expensive but it’s better for the car.
Reviews of Mitsuboshi parts For Business
Japan
I've had DSMs ranging from NA to 600hp, and honestly, I enjoyed the 16g setup the best
I have a 23 PHEV still on the original battery after 36k miles. I do top it off once a month with a battery tender though.
I would go for the Pure Energy new Mistubishi that is 190amps for 200 bucks.
I bet if they had used a Mitsuboshi timing belt in the first place it would have lasted much longer.
The only thing I concerned was the timing belt itself. It was a US made MITSOBOSHI instead of Japan made one. But it was perfect fit, didn’t miss timing even by 1 teeth.
The CVT in it isn’t the best transmission but I’ve always smiled while driving it around curvy road.
Less than a month after buying my 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander SE, the OEM battery died. This became a recurring problem, leading to the car dying on a road trip to PA and entering limp mode. I had to buy a replacement battery from AutoZone despite the OEM battery being under warranty. The battery also died on my PHEV model while fully charged. The OEM battery sucks.
With my car I have two mechanic fix it. 1 1/2 years ago the first mechanic tried 3 different aftermarket idle air control valves (2 from Import Direct which is an O'Reilly in house brand and 1 different brand) to fix a low idle issue I was having and all 3 did not work. What finally worked was an OEM Mitsubishi idle air control valve shipped from Japan.
Also today, need naman bilhan ng alternator which is 40k yung genuine parts kasi nag oovercharge yung battery and other things pa na di ko pa alam kung anong sira yung lalabas pa.
