As a former analyst for an auto parts distributor... Moog was the most popular and better quality for control arms that we sold across the country. AC Delco was 2nd...
Reviews of MOOG parts For Business
Germany
bought mine from moog, still holding up 3 years now.
Pro-tip, the Moog "quick struts" are the same as the A.C. Delco better line of products. I put them side by side and the markings are exactly the same. the stop is the same as well. Once I put those on it at 150k, it rode like a new car. (new bushing too).
Control arms Moog all day, only the Moog control arms made in Germany. If they are made anywhere else they are trash! Moog control arms made in Germany I cannot vouch enough for them!
I replaced all my ball joints with MOOG. Problem solved!
Moog tie rod ends usually have a zerk for greasing and they need to be pre greased. If you didn't grease them no wonder they went TU. Do the replacement again but get a grease gun and some appropriate grease and they'll last a lil longer hehe
Generally love moog, but had a set of ball joints fail on my ram after less than 10k miles. Worse than dodge factory parts.
Moog, especially hub bearings, have dropped considerably in quality.
I can attest to the drop in Moogs quality lately. Those ball joints just aren't as good as they used to be.
Avoid moog, I always had issues with them on Japanese makes.
