We just had our windshield replaced by Tesla for $577 and it lasted 6 years.
Pros: good durability, lasted 6 years
I had this in the Tesla a couple of times and this did the trick.
Pros: procedure fixed issue
The batteries easily last 300k miles even if they're not well taken care of.
Pros: long lifespan, durable

Brakes will likely be done this spring for the first time (expecting 2k seeing as rotors will likely need replacement).

Just had safelite do mine and I don’t recall the brand on the glass but it’s not Tesla. Looks fine to me no issues. Actually the previous windshield was replace by Tesla and the glass quality was not good. I almost took it back to them. Had small waves in it that produced a distortion at certain viewing angles. Then it cracked. It also had a lot of small chips in it way more than other vehicles in the past so maybe this new brand will be better

I got my tesla in June, got a ding and it started to spread. I sent then pictures of the crack and they replaced it with no inspection.

my 2 month old 2025 Model 3 got a crack in the glass from a rock on highway. The process to have it replaced went smoothly at the service center.

1 week after I added it I got a small chip on the side by the pillar. Took it in for repair and was told it will need to be completely replaced.
Cons: chipped quickly, required full replacement
