You might also check the 12v battery, if it's limping along on the original or a dead one it would have to be constantly recharged by the HV battery & inverter running more often. Our 2013 had the original battery still in it when we bought it a couple months ago, clinging on at 11.9v. Mileage seems to have improved slightly with a fresh one.

I have a 2015 Tacoma 4-cylinder stick shift 52,000 mi. I bought it new. The only maintenance I had to do was oil changes and I go underneath with a grease gun and grease all the fittings along the axle.
I have a Toyota Ractis with a CVT on 200k - they're just as reliable as any other transmission. Toyota CVTs are generally very solid. The Ractis is a pretty mediocre driving experience but I think that's more down to the gutless engine than the CVT.
Fwd with snow tires in the winter isnt a bad option. You can't win every battle but itl do for 99% if the driving. I live in northern WI and we drive all over the place with Prius' and snow tires no problem.
Take it to a Toyota dealership and change your own cabin filter (it's the easiest thing to do)
As a 3rd gen TRD OR 6MT owner, this is the achilles heel to the manual transmission. I'm not sure if it's the flywheel weight or the engine tuning, but the rev hang is almost comical. I'm disappointed but not surprised that they didn't fix this. Overall, it's an extremely clunky and cumbersome transmission when you try to hustle it which can be extremely frustrating, but I've grown to really enjoy it otherwise. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone other than die-hard manual enthusiasts though.
My 2012 recently needed a battery replacement
So on top of cold weather, your battery may need attention
This happened to us with 2023 sienna after a dealers oil change !!! It turns out that they didn't close air intake filter cabin correctly. We were drive up to Canada at the time. We had to stop time to time to stop the warning. Check the air filter cabin and make sure it secure.
Mine gave out at 67k on my chr. It was gonna be 12k but I had a warranty
I’m driving my 9th Toyota (a 2018 Camry SE) and I work for Toyota. I’m NOT happy that Toyota decided to make Camry a hybrid ONLY car with CVT transmission. NOT HAPPY! I want POWER and I want a transmission that can deliver it to the wheels… ALL OF IT, without having to worry about tearing it up! CVT transmissions are NOT reliable and they don’t last!
Very disappointed!
