Stick to the 0w20 and 10,000 changes. My car has over 235,000 and uses zero oil between changes.
Bought a used 2023 Tacoma with the extended warranty. A month later, the power steering pump started leaking.
5k or 6 months just like a new one. use the recomended toyota/lexus brand oil.
2005 Camry 2.4L just changed original plugs at 130k miles. I go 5k on synthetic oil and don't have to add any between oil changes.
Totally, saw one for the first time on a 2003 Corolla. I was like “dafuq”? Turned out the ignition coils need to be replaced once every 22 years, haha.
If there's still bounce when you depress the fender and no handling problems, I wouldn't change the struts. I don't think the valve cover gasket is worth fixing. Someday you will need to work on something on the head, you can replace it then. It won't leak a tablespoon of oil per year, it just spreads a lot.
Mine is cursed. Three front end differentials due to carrier needle bearings.
A whole generation of Toyotas have daytime running lights that do this. The fact that Toyota let this slide makes me never want to own one.
I have the original Toyota windsheild and it's wavy as hell. Gives me the jumpy tummy. So OEM is not always best.
