You may not actually need the recalibration… if you have a heads up display, that’s probably different but otherwise it may not be necessary at all. Went through this with my 21 RAV, lots of places tell me, I would need to take it to the dealer for calibration after the new glass. The place I went to said to try it out first and then decide if you need it because a lot of times through replacement does not affect anything. so I got the new glass and drove off, no issues no need for recalibration. The windshield cracked and a construction zone about six months after I got the car. It’s been a couple years and about 80,000 miles since then. No complaints or problems with any of the sensing pack, works like the day I brought it home
Toyota coolant, the red / pink stuff is some of the best coolant available.
It turns out it was the starter motor. Managed to get a second hand one and changed it over, took the told one apart and noticed it had 4x brushes in it and one was completely worn down or potentially could have cracked at some point. Still confuses me to why it would start sometimes and not others. However, this must have been a problem for a while as my car sounds completely different when starting up, really clean!!!!
That’s what mine cost at my local Toyota dealer, my 06 had 70k miles and never had it done and that $1200 for a peace of mind was Money well spent in my opinion
See alot of "battery replacement cost" blah blah. 1) I have had 4 hybrid work cars (3 Camry and 1 Prius) All driven to 150k or more miles without battery issue. 2) Battery is warrantied by Toyota for 10 yrs unlimited miles 3) If you drive car alot the battery will last along time. If it sits 5 days week and you dont drive alot the battery has a small chance to be bad in 10 yrs. 10 YEARS and that like worst case if sits and not driven combined with being outside in really hot or really cold or both (Northeast). I've never seen it though in 4 cars.
Someone warned me against going with auto parts store Remanufactured because they had to do it 2 or 3 times before they got a good Alt, so I stuck to OEM.

Thing just guzzles oil. I believe the model I had was manufactured in England.
Had to top up the oil every 3000kms
My 2023’s rear window popped today or so it seems. I went to get my daughter’s toy in the back, climbed inside to grab it. Closed the door and checked the driver’s seat for stuff, closed that door too. A few minutes later, pieces of broken glass on the bed cover and the entire back window’s gone. Pieces on the floor and all. I was so surprised to see it. I thought someone threw a rock or something. Investigated for a rock or any foreign object inside, nothing. It’s weird cause it happened about half an hour after I got my daughter’s stuff.
