I'm running Brembo rotors right now. I haven't been using them long enough to know how they hold up, but they are very very smooth

get aome ATE powerslot rotors, and some hawk hp or HPS or HP+ pads, which ever u think will work...and you'll have stopping power..big time.
I'm running the coated Meyle rotors and have been pleased with them over the last year. They appeared to be well made out of the box and fit well, especially for the price. The anticorrosive treatment is holding up well too.
If VW won't cover the costs, then don't buy the VW rotors again. Tire Rack sells Centric brand rotors for our vans. These are the same rotors that Powerslot rotors use, just without the slots. They are about $50 each are a much better quality than the stockers. Yeah it's $200, but I would bet these will not warp like the stock rotors.
Btw I'm throwing in : 4 16x7 et45 Genuine Votex wheels 4 205/55/16 Kumho HP4 716 All Season Tires (Great for Winter Setup) Votex replica sideskirts Lots of Misc parts like resurfaced Audi A8 Zimmermann rotors, Front PBR deluxe pads, etc...
its pretty normal for our engines, that's one of the reasons why we change our oil every 3-4k miles. if it ever becomes much more than usual, you could be looking at a leaky seal in your HPFP or the like.
I already have the ATE Premium One rotors and Hawk pads on my 1982 Caddy. They don't have the initial bite but are good once they heat up, but still require adequate pedal pressure to ensure an emergency stop. The ATE Premium One rotors are great especially in the rain because they absolutely have that initial bite.
I purchased brembo oem vented rotors from mjmautohaus and got them that same week (fast service). 288mm for the front on a 1.8t as stated a few posts back.
I know my Brembos cracked like a Mofo. They are still kicking ass and unwarped though
Yeah, I gained a stunning 1 WHP with a D03 nozzle with my DVC-30 kit.
