I just received my Zimmerman /Textar rotor pad combo today and installing on Thursday. I drive my car pretty hard but don’t track it anymore. Zimmerman should 1-1 stock as far as I understand
Owner reviews for brake discs
I went with the stock front 335i Grey 4 piston Brembo's (340mm rotors) and 2 piston Brembo's (345mm rotors) in the rear. I also went with stainless steel brake lines. I used the Zimmerman 2 piece rotors, I can't remember the pads, but I remember they weren't cheap. It stops really well for a daily driver.
I went with pagid 2 piece rotors and akebono ceramic pads. They feel better than stock for sure with much less dust.
My car is a daily driver so I used zimmerman blank 1 piece rotors and jurid pads.

Bought DBA T3 4000 rotors, DFC 5000 pads, a nice jack from harbor freight and some jackstands all for about 900 and did it all myself in about an hour and a half. Changing these pads and rotors are honestly a breeze.
I previously ran project mu hc+ and Winmax W3 pads separately on the street for daily duty before. All of the brakes i mentioned were on blank rotors with the best rotors, in terms of price and corrosion resistance being the premium centric blank rotors.
I use brembo for disks and textar for pads. I used brembo for both but I jas to replace the pads after 10k, they do work very well but they are too soft for daily use. Now I Hva put on textar pads and they are very good!
Same here on my 21 ascent thought maybe warped rotors was going to just have them done but got the notice. Can really feel it on the highway.
