The wrx pedal feel is actually decent, alright top end bite and it only shows it’s a smaller set of brakes when you’re further down the travel. Are the stock brakes adequate for the car and weight? The brakes on my '23 Limited are as good as or better than any car I've driven recently.

While my TR's Brembo's are great but it won't matter if other conditions aren't met.
None of their brakes were as good as my VB or my 17 Outback.
I used rockauto and got.
BOSCH BC433 ceramic Brake Pads on my front brakes.
They have been real good.
I switched the Brembo pads to Power Stop ceramic pads to reduce the black dust that sticks to the wheels and calipers. I didn\u2019t notice much difference in stopping power but I\u2019m sure I gave up a little bit.
Hatte mal Bremsscheiben mit integriertem Radlager und Beläge von Ridex gekauft.
BS mit Radlager war Chinaware, fühlte sich nicht gerade smooth an und ging zurück. Die Beläge sahen i.o. aus und habe ich trotzdem verbaut weil ich keinen Bock auf noch mehr Rücksendestress hatte (alte Scheibe innerhalb Verschleißgrenze ). Seitdem habe ich ein gleichmäßigeres und schöneres Tragbild als zuvor.
I had to replace my brakes early as well, and I was also past the extended warranty campaign.
I originally had r1 concepts rotors and pads but the pads started to squeak like crazy at slow speeds. Rotors were still good so I put on akebono pads and they are perfect.
