I use Valvoline 75w 90 on my 2022 Highlander all-wheel-drive so far so.
Owner reviews for gear oil
75w-90 is totally fine, lots of folks use the Mobil 1 stuff for the diff and t-case
I recently replaced my front and rear differential oil with Redline 75W85 full synthetic.
Valvoline full synthetic 75W-90 has been my go to on my 2020 Highlander. GL-5 spec and one pouch is just enough to do both the transfer case and rear differential.
I've used Redline 75w85 which has the Toyota spec listed on the bottle. Have also used ENEOS 75w90 without any issues.
Amsoil makes a 75w-85 severe gear lube but I've always used the same in 75w-90 with no issues.
Under hard driving conditions per the manual reduction gear oil should be changed not just inspected. Almost all off us fall under hard driving. Search around some people have gotten better range out of higher quality gear oil redline I think.
dati amsoil oe series gamit ko pero ngayon. ung amsoil 4t 10w30 na. castrol gl5 na gear oil
i put redline MT90 in it + it shifted decently good until i blew 5th gear at 105 thou good luck
I had tried Redline MT90 to get rid of the intermittent grind into 2nd, but it made all shifting more difficult and always grind into 2nd. So I went back to OEM.
