I just replaced my oem densos with some Bosch plugs that were labelled as being pregapped 1.1mm. I wanted them to be 1mm and checked with a gauge and Lo and behold they were already at 1mm. Whacked them in and improved my fuel consumption immediately.

NGK Laser Iridium 94124 is the OE plug. Just stick with the OE Plug.

I bought the plugs from Toyota (Denso). I asked for the old plugs off. The plugs I got back were NGKs that were installed at the factory. I can’t say I notice a difference really (except new plugs did seem to make a difference).

I tried it once after reading about that. Used ngk plugs. One of them seized and snapped on me trying to remove it. Only plug I’ve ever had seize.
