KENDA Tires

Kenda AT2 if you plan to off-road and daily drive, RTs if you are wheeling a lot. Made in Ohio, way cheaper, better performance then Goodyear's.

Pros: cheaper, better performance

NANKANG Tires

Can recommend Nankang NS2R. Good price compared to more wellknown brands but there quality and functionality is there. Been running these on the streets for years now.

Pros: good price, good quality

BFG KO2s were OEM and I replaced with another set. UE came with 33"KO2s (not mudders) infused with some kind of black magic that allows them to be great off road and quiet, smooth high grip on paved roads - mine lasted more the 70k miles.

Pros: great off road, smooth grip
Cons: none
Vehicle: Toyota FJ Cruiser
Mileage: 112654 km

Just swapped my OEM Bridgestones on my 21MY for Pirelli scorpions. Seems to be a quieter and smoother tire. I think I could have gotten maybe another 5k out of them. Haven’t been far but truly like them.

Pros: quieter and smoother tire
Mileage: 29000 km

BRIDGESTONE Tires

Rating 2.5
  • Grip:

My opinion is that these are very mild offroad tires. Better than regular street tires with slight improvement for off pavement. But on my Tacoma, the tires would spin quite easily in loose dirt going up hill on an 6-8 degree grade.

Pros: better than street tires
Cons: spin easily in dirt
Vehicle: Toyota
