AC compressor OEM Subaru or Denso
denso compressor 100%, you’ll end replacing that uac in a year if you get it
When I replaced the AC compressor in my E92 I went with a Denso. Just so happened that the original i pulled out was a Denso as well with BMW badging so I would go that route.
skip the auto zone and get an a/c compressor from rock auto \n[https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/honda,2010,cr-v,2.4l+l4,1444968,heat+&+air+conditioning,a/c+compressor,6628](https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/honda,2010,cr-v,2.4l+l4,1444968,heat+&+air+conditioning,a/c+compressor,6628) \ngo with the nissen or denso
a brand-new, OEM, plug-and-play Denso 471-1114 compressor is [$197.98 is on Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/Denso-471-1114-New-Compressor-Clutch/dp/B001UC9IMI) with prime shipping right now. It comes pre-filled with oil and with a new manifold (even though it's not in the photo). To me it was totally worth the extra $130 buying a new OEM compressor assembly. No Ebay quality to worry about, no time shimming up a new clutch, and the compressor itself is all new.
Aftermarket is okay but only buy new. I would trust Denso, Nissens or Valeo.
I drive a 2002 Jeep Liberty. I bought a pre-oiled Denso (OEM) A/C compressor for $130.00 online. Serpentine belt cost me $50. The dryer was another $25.
initial released comp by denso - low drag seals resulted in premature shaft bearing failure 2nd release revised denso - w/continued premature shaft bearing failure 3rd release "Sanden" & shaft bearing failure significantly reduced...
I ordered the Denso part listed as being compatible after having cross referenced it with Denso's own site along with a new condenser, expansion valve and seals. Receive the order and take it to the shop for installation. They call and say it doesn't fit. The mounting holes on the old one are 133mm apart while the new is 132mm apart. They say the bolt simply won't go in due to it having such small tolerances.
My 2016 wrx has an AC compressor fit for a small drawer or shitty wine fridge. In the summer I can have the AC in full blast for the whole ride and the car never cools off. :(
installed new condenser with dryer. i actually found the problem this weekend. Failed compressor.
