Battery OEM Mazda or OPTIMA
Got my yellow top in my 2000 subaru forester still going good 4 years up north where it gets cold
My old Celica was at 11 years of daily on a Yellow Top, including at least 3x when it sat to dead and recharged just fine. When I got a new car and stopped driving it, it only lasted another 6 months of infrequent driving after that.
I had a yellow top that lasted me through 3 cars and over 12 years. I sold it with one of my cars. Those were the good ole days where they actually were decent.
ive got my early 2000's redtop it still sits at 12 but it gets alarmingly hot when in use, best battery ever, over 10 cars
Agree with all that has been said! My battery crapped out on my 2020 outback recently. Immediately put in a non-OEM brand. Optima to be specific. Couldn\u2019t be happier.
I have a 2014 brz and power wise the only thing I've changed is an optima red top battery when my orm battery died. It does have a out twice the cca as the stock battery so maybe it helps.
The only issues my wife and I have had on our 2021 CX9 and 3GT are dead battery issues. And we had dash and reverse cams fitted, which run and film continuously. If our street is busy, they can run the battery flat within 2 days.
Even then the Mazda oem battery is trash. My battery only last me 15k miles, and I bought it new.
I Have had the Mazda CX60 Azumi Tukami G40 Turbo 6cl petrol engine for 12 months now and have had this back at the dealership several times. I believe I have the lemon of the bunch.
Continual Istop issues, it has needed reprogramming twice. The battery has failed testing and needed replacing.
the stock battery only lasted 3 years. My VW prior lasted 7 on the OEM battery.
