i replaced my fronts recently myself with genuine OE Brembo rotors and pads, and i was very pleased to have saved myself about 75% of the cost of having this done at the dealership

I bought Brembo blank disc with Bosch quietcast pad for my civic from rock auto , very satisfied with it, not much dust, quiet, stops well in rain.
As for brakes, I changed mine with Brembo OE discs and pads all round for about 1/8 of that price.

The ATE disks are made from the same cores it seems, but they are coated entirely in some matte grey coating, the BMW ones aren’t, that’s the difference that I have noted.
I bought brembo front and rear and the rears were uncoated and already look shite. The front ones are rust free.
Have recently had shudder with Brembo brakes on my 2018 Kia Stinger GT2 … 55k miles ….after inspection , need new rotors and pads.
