I just replaced all 4 rotors and the pads with the Powerstop coated rotor kit for my 2015 Limited. Got it at Amazon. Perfect OEM fit and no problems whatsoever after a few hundred miles.

Pros: perfect OEM fit, no problems

I see a lot of negative comments on here about PowerStop drilled & slotted rotors...But, I installed some drilled & slotted rotors on my 2002 Mustang GT...and what they did so for me was COMPLETELY eliminate any brake pedal/steering wheel pulsation/shudder caused by "warped" rotors...THAT alone made switching to drilled & slotted rotors worth it, to me.

Pros: eliminate brake pedal shudder

POWER STOP Brake discs

Powerstops, they upgraded my braking performance at least by 3x, and they look really good too, I got the kit for my car with the drilled/slotted rotors, powder coated red calipers and ceramic heat resistant pads, they were a HUGE upgrade for sure.

Pros: upgraded braking performance

POWER STOP Brake discs

When I was told something similar, I went with Powerstop Z36 extreme tow at just over $600 for both front and rear rotors and pads. I did this at 42,000 im now at 115,000 and still good on same set. I use it as a truck and drive it like a sportscar.

Pros: still good on same set
Mileage: 42000 km

POWER STOP Brake discs

I got my 2008 Acura RL calipers on my 00 TL and I used slotted rotors and Bose brake pads. They bite. So IMO I would get the PowerStop, a very good brand everyone loves.

Pros: good bite, good brand
Vehicle: Acura TL

POWER STOP Brake discs

I've had a set of PowerStop Z23 pads, rotors, and calipers, and I drive my card HARD and still doing just fine 30k miles later. Easily 40-50% left. I used to track my car, pre COVID, and that's about the only straight up abuse I've done. I also drive year round through the winter time. I've never had pads wear down faster because of the rotors being drilled/slotted!

Pros: durable, good performance
Cons: pads wear down fast
Mileage: 30000 km

DBA Brake discs

I run dba rotors and endless pads on my Z, and for fast street use they’re great but on track they’re okay. Pedal gets soft halfway through the day and the rotors have developed some small microcracks after 5 days of use and street miles.

Pros: great for street use
Cons: pedal gets soft, microcracks

I bought new set of rotors DBA 5000 T3, (floating rotors) and paired them with ebc rp1 pads. I have rbf600 fluid (around 1,5y old) and braided brake lines. Car is 370z.

Did the bedding in procedure, all good. Rotors have 300km, all works perfectly.

Today i went to a track day and did several very powerful brakings, but also did a cool down lap. And on that first stint, my pedal got soft. Ok, fluid will change.... But stopping in the paddock, the brakes were smoking a bit. I immediately rushed out and did a few km outside, cca 80-90kmh to cool the brakes down. Worked well, they were cool. But then i checked paint markings, all changed colors, indicating rotors exceeded 630°C.

And that was one short stint. So later when i drove, i was very gentle, all good...but i feel slight judder around 120kmh, and when i brake, the steering wheel shakes a bit.

Did i really manage to ruin completely new rotors in ONE stint?

Pros: works perfectly initially
Cons: pedal got soft, brakes smoking
Vehicle: Nissan
Mileage: 300 km
