Pads I always liked Akebono for low dust
Just today installed powerstop z32 pads and evolution coated rotors. Best you can get without making the jump to EBC pads.
Akebono is by far my favorite with minimal dust and excellent lifespan. I have used Bosch and Mazda OEM over the life of my car.
I think the kit you linked would do you well, I've had ceramic pads before from Power stop. Just follow the bed in procedure and you'll be good. Less brake dust too if I'm not mistaken.
IMO, Akebono Ceramics are the shiz. I had some on my Audi A4. Way better than stock, very little dust to clean off, and you can just get them off Amazon for less than OEM.
Akebono is the original equipment manufacturer of brake pads for Honda.
I put these on and there’s a noticeable increase in stopping power.
I use Powerstop Ceramic brake pads. Ceramic pads last longer, brake smoother, and little to no brake dust on rims ????????
Powerstop Z23 front combo and Brembo rotors with Akebono ceramic pads for the rear on a 2013 Golf TDI. Both ends seem to be really good.
My stock rear brakes never made any noise. Recently replaced rotors and pads - went with Akebono Euro Ceramic - and now have the same "clunk" you describe. Usually only first thing in the morning when I back out of my driveway and then roll forward and brake.
