Brake pads EBC or JURID
Currently running this setup minus the master bracket on VR6 brakes. EBC reds are good for low dust. I like them better than Hawks for that. When they are cold they can take a bit of warming up.
I installed EBC Red pads about 2 weeks ago. I don't have any squeaking problems, pedal is super stiff and grabs incredibly fast. The dust is really low in comparison to the stock pads. At this point my white wheels would be covered in black. The dust on there now is acceptable in my opinion. I know others don't like the EBC brakes. So far, I'm very happy with them. Hope this helps you.
I got the EBC Red brake pads installed front and rear. I ever so slightly cleaned the wheels the same day they were installed. So far so good. I haven't noticed any large amounts of brake dust. Stopping is great. Brake pedal is more touchy now. Overall I'm very happy with them!
Found EBC Yellow stuffs for the TTRS calipers for $140 (I've found EBC yellow stuffs a good compromise semi-squeal daily drive and decent on the track)
EPC light on usually is coils or spark. find misfire plug and then move to another and see if it moves if it moves then its coil if not replace spark plugs and try again.
Installed the EBC redstuff over the weekend, wow i love these brake pads, much better bite than OEM pads, and no noise. Not sure about the dust yet, car is dirty, but bite is amazing, im super satisfied
EBC yellowstuff pads ( for track days)
For this event, I plan to bring an extra set of EBC Yellow Stuff pads, per my friend/instructor's suggestion.
FWIW - I used EBC yellows with S3 single piston calipers on the track with both my A3 and now my TT. The EBC usually only lasted one track weekend, prone to brake fad, and ate up the rotors (both stock and StopTech) pretty bad. I have Pagid RSL29 now on the front (with EBC rotors), and they are fantastic on the track. I didnt realize how much the yellows under-performed until I got the Pagids. Just passing it along...
Ebc pads are total garbage.
