Brake pads OEM Honda or Tesla
Alright to offer some professional advice from someone who works on these for a living. The front brakes are 95% or more worn, it's a little unclear but at best there is about 1mm of brake pad left and new I believe the pads come at about 11mm.
I’ve put 140K miles on the Tesla. It’s still on its original brakes. Never been to a shop.
Rev matching is better for the brake pads... and it sounds cool lol. Same reason I rev match downshift in my Honda Civic.
Have never changed my brakes or done an oil change.
I had this in the Tesla a couple of times and this did the trick.
Put in some aftermarket front brake pads too.
I just had to do brakes and ball joints on my 2016 Model S (some rough roads, and calipers were seizing from winter corrosion, I live in the state of Maine, US). 100K miles, 160Kkm (160Mm?).
I have a Honda Pilot and it needed brake pads at 65k miles. The mechanic told me he replaces pads on Chevy Silverados at 25k miles.
Got a 60k MYLR, my pads and rotors seem fine but I keep getting this super loud squeal sound when I brake.
I just dropped $5500 fuckin dollars on my 19 X Performance for brakes and suspension at the service center. Had some ugly noises going on but I was floored when they gave me the estimate. I went 90k on my Prius before doing the brakes and that’s w waaaay less regen! So pissed. The estimate was actually $7500 w tires, stupid fuckin 22s - someone please learn from my mistake and don’t get those god awful heavy wheels!
