I got genuine discs from ML performance for much much less than dealer prices, coupled with textar pads made to the same spec as M4 pads (M4 pads are also a drop in upgrade, I believe textar is OE for M4 pads), noticed minimal difference in performance though.
I had the same problem on my 2021gt500 and the dealer put in new pads, solved the problem.
I did change my F30 with Textar and it was plug n play. No need to go big if you don’t go on track days often imo.
We bought a 2011 Ford Focus everything looked good, drove well. I took it in for a service and front brake pads were down to 2mm. Cost me $1050 for an essential service and repair but now I have peace of mind.
Quality pads and rotors tend not to warp out in a couple hundred miles. If you bought Durlast junk from Autoroo then that's the reason. Stick with OE/OEM Quality like ATE rotors and Textar pads.
I have a 2021 BS BL with 28,000 and have no issue with the water pump. The squeaky brakes in reverse drives me nuts though!
Well, I just put Textar pads on and am looking to swap them because they\u2019re super dusty and squeal with light pressure, so I too would love some recommendations.
I recently replaced some on a 981 with Textar and don’t recommend it. So much dust and some noise at low speed braking.
