Engine radiator Koyo or KOYORAD
Put a koyo rad in it and it’s been good to go.
I got a Koyorad and 0 issues with overheating with hard driving! Coolant stays at operating temp no matter what.
If you go aluminum Koyo is the way to go.
koyorad on my 400hp Focus and never had over heating issues.
I went with Koyo. CARid was the best price at the time. Been 7 years and no issues.
I replaced my 2010 factory Calsonic with a Kyorad 2807, there were lots of favorable comments on thenewx forum. 18 months later, still going.
I had read about people having good luck with the Kyorad brand so that's what I bought.
On my Miata with the factory flawed OEM coolant routing, I run a Koyorad 36mm aluminum radiator with OEM fans and it keeps temps a bit cooler than stock.
I went with a Koyorad, but for how much I’ve spent, I should have gone with a crossflow (either Supermiata or Flyin Miata). I also did a coolant reroute, which made me really regret not getting a crossflow
When I ordered a koyorad I didn’t get this in the box. I sent back what I got from them it was all dented and didn’t fit.
