Engine radiator MISHIMOTO or OEM BMW
Replaced with original.
24 years is good for me.
The stock piece lasts well over a decade in my experience. That's more than enough for me for a part that fits and functions perfectly.
No issues for years on mine. Turbocharged with a coolant reroute at 250whp. Had their products in my civic and diesel trucks in the past and had no complaints. Going on 10 years with their stuff.
Currently have one in a 97 for about 3 years, I don’t drive the car super hard so there’s no problems at all.
No issues with my mishimoto radiator in my 04 MSM. Kept the stock fans, however.
As for highway driving (when the high speed airflow takes over) I saw little to no difference with my OEM vs Mishimoto All-aluminum radiator. Hot day, w/ and w/o AC temps push 220F easily.
I’ve been using the same one on my skyline for nearly 10 years and lately the coolant has been brown. Mishimoto radiators are good enough
I have Mishmoto ( dont recommend) on my 2016 wrx in Arizona at 110 days w the Ac on it runs at 190-197 on the streets. While on the freeway its at 215 avg while cruising at 80mph. Been on my car since 2017 I think. But this was before CSF and whatnot came around. Can’t wait to save up and switch.
Bought it for my coyote swapped F100 and there was a hole in it from the start. Rewelded the whole thing because wasn’t worth the return when I can just do it myself. Welds just looked like someone just started child labor and it was their first day on the job. Wouldn’t buy one again if I had too.
my Mishimoto leaked/falied apx 10-11 years after I bought it. and keep the receipt, or your lifetime warranty will not be valid
