Engine radiator Nissens or OEM Toyota
I was recommended Nissens as a OEM quality radiator replacement. No issues so far in 30K miles with lots and lots of hard driving, drifting and 1 track training day on top of dailying it come rain or shine.
Bought a Nissens like I should have in the first place and all was well.
I am running a nissen radiator, no issues 4 years in.
My Nissens radiator has one just like this. Honestly, these are much better because you don’t need a tool to remove it.
No, the best radiator is Toyota OEM it can last over 25 years.
I have a Nissens radiator that’s been solid
Buy a Nissens one some of the other brands use weaker plastic or don't have proper seams
If you can\u2019t afford the OE Modine radiator, get a Nissens one from FCPEURO with BMW hoses (NOT Rein which are absolute junk). Stay far away from Mahle radiators which are also junk and not worth your time.
The ~2014 Nissens, with the 15 round tube design just doesn't cut it. From what I can tell the car would've come with the 30 flat tube design. The Nissens just doesn't have enough surface area. On a hot day, with the AC going and highway speeds it just couldn't keep up.
my car's radiator is $200 for an underperforming Nissens radiator.
